WHY EVERYDAY BODY WORKS?

A body that moves well and works from a correct position—or has correct “body mechanics”—will feel better now, be more productive now, and will be able to work longer and last longer.

There is no system in the United States to teach people correct body mechanics. Consequently, most people have no idea how to move. It’s not even something many people think about—until they get injured.

Pain is usually what gets people’s attention. And then, typically, the pain gets treated instead of the underlying poor movement pattern. For many, the result is chronic pain, dependence upon pain medication, surgery, and disability. It all adds up to an enormous social and economic cost.

Wouldn’t it be smarter to prevent pain by teaching people good body mechanics? This is what encouraged me to start Everyday Body Works. If you are not confident that you (or, if you’re a business owner or manager, your employees) know correct body mechanics for daily movement and work tasks, contact me. Let’s talk about how I can help you move, work, and live better every day!
